Description of the composition

The composition of XJ Homme evolves as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Xerjoff is evident in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum sets the depth and body this composition needs.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Citrus, Spicy, Floral and Green. It also reaches into Wood, Animals, Gourmet and Leather.

Right at the start you detect sparkling citrus top notes: Bergamot, Caraway, Ginger and Grapefruit.

At the core of development you meet Clove, Iris and Lavender carrying a warm-spicy direction. In the base the composition is fixed through Birch, Grey Ambergris, Rose, Vanilla, Vetiver and Woody Accord, reinforcing a deep woody trail.

The accord profile is driven by these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Floral and Wood without random overlap. Background accords such as Powdery, Amber, Leather and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over.

Overall XJ Homme reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best understood through real development.
