My introduction to SIU began with ELAN

I no longer really remember what real mimosa smells like, but this fragrance feels very sunny to me. In the opening there is a sparkle, tartness and astringency, with floral pollen. For some reason I also catch sea buckthorn with honey, as if the berries had been mashed and covered with hot water. I never found the almond. Overall, this smells like homey warmth and calm. It sits close to the skin and wears softly, only occasionally brought back by the wind. It works especially well in warm spring weather
The fragrance is truly impressive, long-lasting and very feminine. First, you get sweet notes of rose and vanilla, then dry citrus peels appear, perfectly complementing the rich patchouli. At some point, it becomes deeper, even a little damp, as if you've entered a basement. It's something familiar, but I can't quite recall what it is yet 😲
Sometimes it might seem a bit hazy, but just step out into the spring air, and it simply starts to shine! You can't call this perfume sweet, let alone cloying. The scent is floral, reminiscent of the freshness and purity of a spring floral breeze. I didn't quite understand which notes create this breeze… but it seems like something akin to blooming cotton… )
This scent again reminds me of some shortbread cookie, slightly warm. The smell is really delicious, but for me, food and perfumery are different things!! It's pleasant, of course, but I can't imagine how to wear it in everyday life
The fragrance from this line is indeed very light. Floral notes, especially magnolia and osmanthus, stand out among the rest. There's no stickiness, which is a pleasant surprise!!
How poorly these synthetic watermelons combine with apples! It's just a nightmare. The flat chemical sweetness causes only discomfort and a headache, no positive emotions are felt )
Oh, how lovely! I collected some perfume gifts for my little nieces. And now I'm sitting here, wondering if I should keep this sweet little thing for myself. The smell of strawberries with hints of rose is so delightful, I can't resist. For me, it's a great alternative to Montale's Mukhallat, because both fragrances have that chemical strawberry, but Artes feels much nicer and more comfortable to wear

I bought it once in the late 70s, the price wasn't small back then. That memory has stayed with me my whole life, and now I'd love to try them again 😔
