It smells strange, of course. Mediterranean, you say? More like salty water with greens and bitterness, and that scent of blooming orange that just stinks. No sillage, longevity on skin is a maximum of 3-4 hours, and on clothes a little longer. Overall, not impressive

The scent reminds me of bay leaf, spices, smoky vanilla, and earthy patchouli. Elegant and subtle. In my opinion, this is truly a niche fragrance for a reasonable price. It stays close to the skin, I can feel it on myself for up to four hours 🌿

This fragrance is clearly about vetiver. It's not just playing with a note, but true vetiver, which I compared to essential oil from Haiti. At the start, it smells warm and nutty, and in the base, the coolness of coniferous and woody notes emerges. In Encre Noire, the vetiver is softer and smoother, without the sharp menthol quality of the essential oil. Overall, the similarity is evident. Encre Noire reminds me of a walk through a dense coniferous forest, where the sun shines high, creating a feeling of warmth, but the rays don't penetrate through the spruce branches. On the skin, the fragrance lasts about an hour, and on clothes - up to 6-8 hours
