Identity and Release History

In 2015, the world of perfumery was enriched by the vibrant and flirtatious fragrance 8 Boho Blossom from the legendary brand Abercrombie & Fitch.

This release, which came out in 2015, is a perfume water from the iconic Eight Collection, updating the 2007 classic named "8" and giving it a more cheerful and modern sound.

Founded in 1892, Abercrombie & Fitch has evolved from a hunting equipment store to a cultural phenomenon, whose fragrances reflect the spirit of freedom and youth, and 8 Boho Blossom is a perfect testament to that.

Positioning and Character of the Fragrance

Women's fragrance 8 Boho Blossom is created for those who value lightness and elegance in everyday life.

With its very strong sillage, this perfume leaves a lasting impression on others, ideally suited for daytime outings, meetings with friends, or romantic dates.

As a perfume water, it offers balanced longevity, unfolding gradually and giving a festive feeling even on gray weekdays.

Its flirtatious and very feminine character makes it a versatile companion for girls who want to add a note of joy and dreaminess to their lives.

Influence and Place in the Collection

8 Boho Blossom is not just a fragrance, but an important part of Abercrombie & Fitch's heritage, enriching the Eight Collection with its floral-fruity accent.

As a flanker of the original "8" fragrance, it retained the brand's DNA but brought a lighter and more playful mood, reflecting the company's evolution towards modern femininity.

This release strengthened Abercrombie & Fitch's reputation as a brand capable of creating affordable and inspiring perfumes that resonate with a wide audience and become favorites for years to come.

Description of the composition

Composition 8 Boho Blossom is built on a harmonious combination of three key notes, creating a multi-layered and memorable sound.

It begins with a juicy and velvety raspberry, giving the fragrance a playful fruity freshness and an inviting start.

In the heart of the composition, a delicate and silky peony unfolds, adding elegance and floral depth, which softens the initial sweetness.

The pyramid is completed by a warm and affectionate vanilla, which envelops the perfume with a soft gourmand trail, giving it brightness and chic.

This combination of notes from the floral, fruity, and gourmand groups makes the fragrance dynamic and multifaceted, perfectly reflecting its belonging to the floral and gourmand families.

Each note smoothly flows into another, creating a coherent story that takes one into a world of dreams and lightness.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

A typical set, nothing special. Vanilla and a hint of raspberry, and peonies add a bit of freshness. But the fragrance has no longevity, alas!!!

The scent didn't make much of an impression on me. Sweetish-fresh, with clear notes of raspberry and peony, it seems quite simple. Something is missing to really captivate

Raspberry, flowers, and vanilla - that's what I smell. For a young lady, it might suit. A sweet scent with peony notes, but it's not all that simple. This perfume sparks interest, but leaves questions. What is it really like? ))))

The fragrance is actually quite ordinary, but there's a charm to it. It reminds of sweet raspberries with a light hint of vanilla and delicate rosebuds. Its sweetness is moderate, not too intrusive, and it sits close to the skin, leaving no sillage. The bottle attracted me - that painting on the back wall gives the fragrance a certain fairy-tale quality. But, honestly, the feeling of sadness from its simplicity doesn't go away )
