Description of the composition

The composition of First Instinct Extreme is shaped as a living composition, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Abercrombie & Fitch is evident in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum sets the depth and body this composition needs.

At the opening of the pyramid you catch piquant warm top notes: Black Pepper, Carambola and Mandarin leaf.

In the central layer you notice Cardamom, Saffron, Sichuan pepper and Violet leaf keeping a spicy-aromatic direction.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Aromatic, Fruit, Musc and Amber with each one in a clear role. Secondary accord layers such as Leather and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The profile is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read. For persistence Middle indicates a stable lasting impression.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Spicy, Fruit, Green and Ambery. The palette also extends to Musk, Leather and Wood.

Taken together First Instinct Extreme sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This fragrance is definitely not worth its money. At first, it hits your nose, causing wariness and even discomfort. Spices and sweetness are in excess here, but the drydown is simple, sweet, and with a chemical aftertaste. Honestly, I expected more
