Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Away Man evolves as an expressive line of development, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Abercrombie & Fitch is clear in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette supports a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Wood without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The stylistic positioning is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Right at the start you catch sparkling citrus first notes: Bergamot, Grapefruit, Pineapple and Violet.

When the opening settles you detect Geranium, Ginger and White Pepper holding a cinnamon-nutmeg direction.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Fruit, Floral and Spicy. It also reaches into Wood. At family level the fragrance belongs to Fruit, Spicy and Wood.

In summary Away Man holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best understood through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

So far I have no complaints about this fragrance, but only my nose will tell how it really is! 😄 Honestly, nothing from this brand has really captivated me, I don't feel any connection. I hope this fragrance can still surprise me! 🌟

A classic perfume for men, of course, must have its own structure. Pepper, which for me always smells like dust, doesn't really excite me here. But, after all, it's a men's fragrance, and I honestly don't really care. I'm curious how it will unfold, but I don't have high hopes
