Description of the composition

The composition of Oud Essence is built as a cohesive olfactory arc, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Abercrombie & Fitch is clear from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de Cologne emphasizes the depth and body this composition needs.

The accord architecture is driven by these accords: Balsamic and Wood without random overlap. The profile is masculine, which clarifies the composition character.

Without strict stage separation the opening appears as one connected movement with a warm incense mood: Frankincense, Myrrh and Oud. In this format 3 notes sound as one voice, forming meditative density that feels seamless.

The inner phases are perceived as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which gives the structure continuity.

From the group perspective the profile is anchored in Balsamic, Wood and Gourmet. At family level the fragrance belongs to East and Wood.

Taken together Oud Essence sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best understood in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth

Wow, this is a real bomb! The smell of resins and wood is so intense it just blows your mind. It's really very dense and dry, you can feel its power. It definitely feels like it's not for women, but for real men. It's intriguing, but at the same time, its sharpness might put some people off

This fragrance can boldly compete with the most expensive niche perfumes. The oud here is simply magnificent
