Fragrance information:

Authentic Night Man Abercrombie & Fitch, released in 2020, sits firmly in the category of a masculine fragrance, drawing from the fern family. The fragrance belongs to the green and gourmet groups. The fragrance belongs to the Authentic collection. In eau de toilette — and that's all it takes to fall in love.

Expect a noticeable sillage — enough to be remembered, not enough to overwhelm. On clothing, 1-2 sprays are the recommended amount. The longevity is high — this one will stay with you for the long haul. Produced in the United States, where perfumery has long been elevated to an art form. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Authentic Night Man is shaped as a continuous scent journey, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The style of Abercrombie & Fitch is evident from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de toilette emphasizes a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

In the top tier you sense sweet-fresh fruity first notes: Apple, Lotus and Rhubarb.

When the opening settles you detect Clary Sage, Lavender and Vanilla holding a pure aromatic direction.

The accord profile is driven by these accords: Aromatic, Floral, Fruit and Wood without random overlap. Additional accords such as Amber, Leather and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The profile is masculine, which clarifies the composition character. For persistence High indicates a stable lasting impression.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Gourmet, Green, Fruit and Floral. The palette also extends to Aromatic, Ambery, Leather and Earthy / Mossy.

Taken together Authentic Night Man sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best judged on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. At first, the scent seems sweet and spicy, but then some iodine-like note appears. Hello, Baccarat?! I don't understand what it is - maybe unlisted saffron, or perhaps lotus is expressing itself this way. In any case, it doesn't make me happy. It starts off pretty well, but then it turns into something silly for my taste

The sensations don't match the pyramid at all. I expected a warm, sweet, slightly sticky fragrance, but in reality, it turned out to be a rather transparent fruit juice. The sweetness here is natural. The composition is soft and smooth, it will suit many, even young girls 🍏
