Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Cologne 15 evolves as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The style of Abercrombie & Fitch is evident in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de Cologne sets the right density and pace of development.

The accord profile is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Wood, Amber and Spicy forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Cosmetic expand the olfactory volume in the background. The profile is masculine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

As soon as the fragrance opens you catch invigorating sunny opening notes: Bergamot and Citrus accord.

At the core of development you sense Aldehydes, Cardamom, Green Chord and Juniper keeping a futuristic direction.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Citrus, Fairy, Spicy and Green. The palette also extends to Wood, Ambery and Aromatic. At family level the scent maps to Aromatic.

In summary Cologne 15 holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best judged on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The aldehydes in this fragrance are simply unbearable, too bright for me. The powerful cardamom and juniper notes create a somewhat frightening sound. My husband, of course, liked it, but I couldn't even be near him to smell it
