The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

When it comes to the Les Eaux de Chanel collection, there's no need to complain about the longevity. Olivier Polge, you're simply amazing! The citruses here are so soft and cozy, they create a seaside atmosphere, simply magical! 🌊 Neroli is something incredible, and patchouli sounds so light, like watercolor. Musk adds delicacy, and with this little scent, summer will be simply gorgeous! It lasts pretty well on hair, and as for unisex - it's definitely not for everyone, it's just for me! 💖

This fragrance, honestly, didn't impress me. It feels like it's for those tired of cloying sweets and bright smells, but I think the softness of its sound here is just out of place. Yeah, it's not bad, but there's something too simple and ordinary about it. Citrus and flowers are present, of course, but they don't evoke any emotions. Lily of the valley? It's like it's just there for show, adds nothing special.

As for the notes, they seem pretty flat. Patchouli only appears at the very end, and even then, only if your skin is warm. If it's cold, you won't notice it at all. This whole line reminds me of something from the 80s, but not in a good way. Floral scents, yes, but they don't grab you. Overall, the fragrance comes across as floral-citrus, but there's nothing outstanding about it.

The only thing that really bugs me is the price. A bit pricey, and for what? If it were truly unique, you could justify the cost, but right now, it's just not the case 😒

A citrus boost! The scent is really bright and fresh. But it lacks sillage, and it disappears quickly. The remnants are barely noticeable, the base is almost imperceptible, and that's not it anymore. The most appealing notes are definitely the top ones 🌟

Of all the new releases, Paris-Biarritz most resembles a classic cologne. The fragrance structure is clear and crisp, but Olivier Polge's style immediately reveals its Chanel origins. The composition, much like Biarritz itself, is filled with freshness and aquatic lightness. Instead of a simple aquatic scent, something more complex is offered here. The opening features grapefruit, green mandarin, bergamot, lemon, and neroli. Neroli plays a key role: its cold and crisp notes set the rhythm for the fragrance and lead to a floral-musky heart, where lily of the valley with an aquatic note and Chanel's white musk accord lend elegance to the composition. Musk is the second important component. Towards the end, the scent starts to resemble suntan lotion. The feeling of warm skin, fanned by a sea breeze, is enhanced by velvety woody notes, similar to patchouli. This is where the complexity of Paris-Biarritz lies: simple, clearly distinguishable elements unite into a single picture, where luxurious villas and trendy boutiques harmoniously coexist with bright surfboards and their owners, soaked in sun and sea salt 🌊

You absolutely have to stock up on the whole line, especially Paris - Biarritz. The sample, of course, only piqued my interest, but didn't let me fully enjoy the fragrance's full beauty. It's truly magnificent! The citrus notes from Chanel are simply delightful, and the base is so pleasing. You feel a lightness and freshness, as if there's so much air around you

Like many Chanel fragrances, this one again didn't impress me. The citrusy green note, as always, is front and center. The components smell decent, but it's already something familiar, another variation on the same theme. Honestly, I can't even tell them apart ((

A scent that seems light, but actually leaves a bitter aftertaste. Citrus notes, mostly mandarins, dominate, but there's a lot going on - both sweet pulp and bitter zest, you can even feel the leaves. However, as it develops, a certain soapiness emerges, which, while not ruining the fragrance, still adds an unpleasant nuance. Floral notes aren't felt at all. And then, strangely enough, it disappears too quickly. Such a shame

This perfume is just mesmerizing, you just have to smell it and you're already thrilled! 🌟 Before, I didn't even think about Chanel's exclusive line, but after a post about these fragrances, I simply fell in love with almost the entire series. Lily of the valley is my weakness, and here it's presented simply magnificently. The scent of the white bouquet is so delicate and fresh, with light citrus notes and pure musk. It just radiates confidence and elegance 💖

At first I couldn't quite grasp what this scent was, but now it's become a true comfort for me. It feels fresh and clean, like diving into a soapy citrus. Bergamot, lemon, grapefruit, lily of the valley, neroli, green notes, and musk - all this creates incredible harmony and freshness 🌿

There are just tons of citruses here, fresh greens are also in place, and flowers - just a touch, but they're definitely there. The scent is truly refreshing and brings coolness, perfect for summer. Longevity, by the way, is surprising - that's rare for citruses

Oh, this is just wonderful! I can feel a bright orange and a slightly soapy grapefruit, but it doesn't spoil the overall picture. There's a certain similarity to Balenciaga's 'Paris' - greenness and light patchouli notes. Coolness and lightness, like a breath of fresh wind. Truly chic! Even if I tested it blindly, I'd easily guess it's a Chanel perfume. The base is unmistakably Chanel. It lasts excellently on the skin and has a beautiful sillage

If you set aside brands and names, there's something worthwhile in this perfume for everyday use. But how boring it is!

A citrus burst that feels like someone suddenly opened a window on a hot day. It has bitterness and tartness, which adds a certain mystery. The scent really stands out, not like typical fresh smells. Lily of the valley is also noticeable, giving it lightness. It's perfect for those moments when the heat is relentless, but you need to look appropriate. For me, this fragrance is more about dreams than actual relaxation, as if it's lingering somewhere in the office, reminding you of something unattainable. Overall, it looks stylish and neat. And by the way, men might like it too

Overall, this trio (Deauville, Biarritz, Venezia) left me puzzled. The note pyramids certainly look good, but where's that unique Chanel style? All three fragrances seem pretty ordinary, on the level of something like Chance or Tendre. I can't say they impressed me

What a load of nonsense, honestly! First, it smells of bitter citruses, like someone shoved a lemon up your nose. Then there's this aquatic note that's totally out of place. Cold notes of greens and flowers, like you're suffocating in a greenhouse. Neroli and lily of the valley, who even needs that? The musky base is light, sure, but it doesn't save it. It smells classic, but not in a good way. More like something for men, but I wouldn't even recommend it to them. Overall, it's as simple as it gets, like they just threw it together
