Description of the composition

The scent of Standard is built as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Comme des Garçons Parfums is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de toilette supports the right density and pace of development.

When the structure is mixed the notes arrive together with a warm spicy mood: Cedar, Fennel, Ginger, Lemon, Saffron, Tea and honeysuckle.

The deeper layers are felt as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which keeps the fragrance coherent.

The accord profile is shaped by these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Fruit and Musc with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Wood and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The gender direction is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read. For persistence Middle indicates a stable lasting impression.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Green, Musk, Spicy and Wood. The palette also extends to Aromatic, Citrus and Floral.

This fragrance is truly unusual, just like everything this brand makes. It starts with cedar, then lemon, ginger, and saffron are added. In the heart, something herbaceous, like fennel, unfolds with tea and musk. Despite its originality, freshness and vigor don't leave it, there's even a slightly soapy note. In summer, in the heat, it will be simply perfect. But I just can't figure out if I like it or not
