Perfume information

Description of the composition

Blue Encens composition is built on mixed notes, including amber, black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, frankincense, and wormwood (artemisia).

These elements create a complex aromatic profile, where spicy accents like cardamom and cinnamon intertwine with the balsamic depth of frankincense and the green freshness of wormwood, while amber adds a warm and sensual base.

The development on skin begins with bright spices, gradually transitioning to more restrained and spiritual shades, making the fragrance multifaceted and intriguing for daily exploration.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

3
Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

If Tom Ford's frankincense is green, then for French-Japanese avant-gardists, it's somehow strange, blue in color. Imagine a forest right by the sea, and a monastery on the shore. An accord of wormwood, cinnamon, and amber creates an unusual illusion of color. The result is an effect that both cools and surprises ❄️

This fragrance evokes the icy indigo of a sky where the wind chases steel clouds. It conjures images of the bottomless sea and the blue of the forests along its shores. It's like mysterious blue velvet, eternal twilight, and a melancholy that penetrates the soul. Blue Encens arrives unexpectedly, like winter. A fresh accord of frost-covered juniper berries bursts from the bottle. Fir branches are shrouded in mist, and spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and black pepper add warmth. The scent hardly changes over time; like a skillful acrobat, it balances on the edge of temperatures, slowly plunging into a cold sea towards an amber base. In the end, "Blue Incense" doesn't warm you up much, but if you need the perfect backdrop for what nature has prepared for the next six months, you won't find better olfactory accompaniment 🌊

The fragrance leaves a strange aftertaste. It's the "Second Me" from Garçons, and honestly, I don't know what to think. Unusual, yes, but its freshness somehow doesn't please, rather it evokes melancholy. Softness and smokiness are certainly present, but where's the cinnamon? I don't detect it, and maybe that's for the best. On the other hand, juniper, which isn't listed, smells quite loud. But in Blue Cedrat, where it should be, it's simply absent. The start is a bit sharp, but after a minute something beautiful opens up, although it doesn't save it. It projects decently, longevity is average, but after a couple of hours, you have to reapply. Overall, it's unisex, but the feeling remains bitter

“Blue Incense” envelops you in a cold mist, like wormwood, and in its depths, you can hear the crackle of heated cinnamon. This feeling fades, leaving only emptiness and longing. I remember how it used to be different!!

At first, it really seems too sharp, but fortunately, that sharpness quickly fades. Gradually, a rather interesting spice accord starts to emerge. In my opinion, this fragrance would be more suitable for men

This fragrance, honestly, only causes bewilderment. It's declared as unisex, but in my opinion, it clearly leans masculine. On the skin, it unfolds with sharp, burning black pepper and spices that are simply overpowering. Cardamom and cinnamon add a certain heaviness, and fresh wormwood and frankincense only worsen this feeling. Longevity, of course, is there, but with such a scent, you'd rather get rid of it than enjoy it. I don't understand how anyone can wear this)))
