Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Pleasures Exotic (2007) evolves as an expressive line of development, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The style of Estée Lauder is recognizable from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum supports a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

In a unified mixed pyramid the opening appears as one connected movement with a juicy exotic mood: Bamboo, Lychee, Mango and Orange blossom. In this format 4 notes act as one voice, forming playful berry energy that reads as cohesive from the start.

The deeper layers are read as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The accord profile is driven by these accords: Floral and Fruit with each one in a clear role. The gender direction is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Wood, Fruit, Whiteflower and Citrus.

In summary Pleasures Exotic (2007) reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best experienced in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

The scent is just awful, it's absurd. The unnatural notes of mango and lychee only cause disgust. I haven't even encountered anything like this in mass-market perfumes. It's very sad that they ruined it like this
