Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Osmantus evolves as a cohesive olfactory arc, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Keiko Mecheri is evident in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum emphasizes a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

Without strict stage separation the opening appears as one connected movement with a juicy exotic mood: Apricot, Datura, Green Chord, Osmanthus, Plum, Tuberose and musk. Here 7 notes work as one coherent layer, creating playful berry energy that feels seamless.

The inner phases are perceived as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The olfactory framework is shaped by these accords: Floral, Fruit and Musc with each one in a clear role.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Floral, Fruit, Musk and Whiteflower. The framework further includes Green. From a family perspective the composition sits in Floral.

In summary Osmantus reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail. This is the type of composition best judged on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The black bottle, which seems so heavy, makes me sad. The osmanthus I love so much is barely noticeable here. Instead, at the start, I smell stuffy wormwood and immortelle, and then the osmanthus ends up in some sweet, sticky, viscous syrup. The scent's intensity is only apparent at the beginning, and then it becomes too soft. I didn't find anything special in it, it didn't captivate me. It reminds me of something similar to Amouage Sunshine, but it's not quite that. It has many fans, the fragrance is indeed not bad, but for me, it seems secondary

I tried a small sample and was pleasantly surprised! The scent is delicate, creamy-powdery, with an interesting note of floral pollen and apricots. The tea accent is also noticeable. A very harmonious and unobtrusive smell, just super! 🌸
