The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Oud is just something else! First, you feel its powerful, sharp aroma, as if you've stepped into an Indian market. Then it softens, and sandalwood appears with jammy notes. Surprisingly, the scent isn't sticky, but light, as if filling everything around. It holds well on the skin, but prefers to avoid clothes and hair ))))

How wonderful it is! 😊 The first few minutes it smells a bit medicinal, but that note quickly disappears, and oud begins to unfold softly and nobly, blending with spices. Then rose and jasmine come to the forefront, adding a touch of resinousness. The base of the fragrance is deep, velvety, with leather and woody accents, and oud continues to resonate until the very end. Despite its softness and lack of sharp intensity, the scent is quite rich and leaves a trail. I thoroughly enjoyed testing it, it immediately won me over! 🌟

The fragrance I tried has a woody-spicy character. At its opening, you can feel notes of leather and oud, as well as saffron with clove and elemi resin. These elements intertwine with ylang-ylang, jasmine, and delicate rose in the heart of the composition. All of this is rounded off by seductive musk, powerful sandalwood, and warm amber. This perfume evokes many emotions and leaves behind a mystery

The fragrance is really rich, with a clear oud accent. But where's that elemi note? I expected it to add a bit of freshness and a citrusy touch, but alas, I don't smell it. It's like something important slipped away, and that makes me sad

This fragrance is certainly impressive, but there's something melancholic about it. You can smell a lot of oud, saffron, and rose, but the woody notes and leather create a sense of something lost. It's bright and unusual, yet at the same time, it evokes a longing for something that can no longer be retrieved 🌧️

HORRIBLE! The opening is too sharp, like walking into a pharmacy. Saffron with oud clearly make their presence known. Then the scent changes: sometimes it's light and almost weightless, then suddenly it becomes rich and spicy. Overall, it's quite an captivating smell, but it leaves a bitter aftertaste

Listen, I've probably never encountered so much oud in one fragrance. Although, to be honest, there was a similar case with Montale, just in a different bottle, the name slipped my mind. It gives the impression that they found oud deposits somewhere and are now adding it everywhere, in huge doses. But, despite that, everything looks quite appealing

If you're an oud fan, this perfume will definitely be for you. But it wasn't for me, too intrusive a smell. Although on others, especially on men, it smells much more interesting. On ladies, it's somehow not quite right )
