This fragrance is, of course, considered iconic, but in reality, it's just overloaded. Complexity and multi-layeredness are not always good. The notes blend so much that it's almost impossible to understand what exactly you're smelling. Instead of enjoying it, you just get lost in this chaos. I can't say it's anything special; rather, it's just a convoluted mix that doesn't leave a pleasant impression 😒

In this fragrance, it's just vanilla, and nothing else. No other notes, just her. But it doesn't smell simple; there's some strange undertone I can't quite grasp

Apricot is only slightly noticeable. Mostly, vanilla unfolds on me, but it's so incredibly delicious and not at all intrusive. You can wear this vanilla with confidence that it won't cause a headache

Montale's vanilla is simply a nightmare. At first, it smells like sweet apricot, but then some unbearable baked goods start, which press on your brain. I'm not a fan of vanilla at all, but here it's just too much. I don't know how anyone can stand it )
