I read reviews where people wrote that Montale lovers layer this black oud with other fragrances from the brand. Honestly, I don't understand how that's possible. All Montales are so intrusive, how can you even combine them? 😒

The oud is simply stunning, but the name is a bit misleading. You expect something loud and sharp, but in reality, you get a soft, deep sound with woody-spicy sweet notes. This is one of Montale's most memorable fragrances; it's not as commonplace as rose musk, but it clearly has character 💫
