The composition of Pure Love unfolds as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The style of Montale comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum supports a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

From the first breath you sense petal-airy top note: Rose. This single 1 note sets romantic softness that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

In the middle phase you meet Sandalwood and Vetiver carrying a spicy-woody direction.

The olfactory framework is driven by these accords: Floral, Wood, Amber and Leather with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

At first, the fragrance opens with leather accents that sound very natural and beautiful. But then such an intrusive sweetness appears that all the charm of the leather is lost. I don't smell rose, only this cloying sweetness and some suffocating note that completely discourages me from wearing this perfume. This note manifests both on the skin and on clothes. I can't understand what exactly in the composition causes it. But the longevity of the eau de parfum is simply amazing. I even left the bottle to infuse for a month after purchase 🌸

This Montale fragrance is truly one of those that stick with you. My interest in the brand had waned a bit, but this perfume is a real find. It's both rich and soft, with a noble nuance reminiscent of a new car smell. Sweetness and woody notes create an interesting cocktail. There's no usual oriental grandeur often found in Montale; rather, it's something more restrained and English. All in all, it's worth trying if you want to discover something new and unusual!

I really want to try this fragrance already! The leather note in its pyramid is just so alluring. And on the bottle, by the way, there are some strange esoteric patterns again. It seems that this is currently a trend in the world of perfumery
