Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth

This scent is simply amazing, it's like it embraces you with its warmth. The aldehydes here are truly gorgeous, they add freshness and volume. The sweetness and powderiness create the feeling of a soft cream on the skin. It sounds very feminine and sophisticated, reminding me of something classic, like Chanel No. 5 🌸

The fragrance is truly rich, with bright floral notes and a slight resinousness. It reminds me of something old-fashioned, with a clear emphasis on aldehydes, which gives it a special charm. But alas, I've fallen into the same trap with Piguet again. Every time I try their fragrances that others adore, I'm filled with disappointment because of this retro vibe. This perfume is clearly for those who appreciate classics and the old school, but for me, it seems outdated. I can't say I disliked it entirely, so I'll give it 4 stars for the love it inspires in others

the fragrance combines frankincense, flowers and apricots, as well as fruity resins, which create an amazing composition. the sillage of this perfume sometimes resembles sweet candies, with a slight hint of lollipops. honeyed dried apricots are present, but in small quantities, as are light floral notes that are barely perceptible. overall, this is a luxurious and rich oriental fragrance that amazes with its variety and depth of sound

The scent I tried left me with pretty mixed feelings. Aldehydes are certainly noticeable here, but I can't say it's anything special. Yes, it's unusual, but it causes more bewilderment than admiration. No pleasant memories arise, just a certain heaviness in my soul.

I heard a colleague call it "mature," and honestly, I can't disagree. I don't recommend it without testing, because it might not suit everyone. It has something of old shops, but without the notes that usually evoke such associations.

Mysticism? Maybe, but it's more like a haze that doesn't allow you to enjoy the scent. It's not too loud, yet it somehow attracts attention, though I don't understand why. Its longevity is good, but it's perceived better on dry autumn days. Overall, it didn't impress me

So what kind of scent is this? Smells of church herbs and liquids, like the French decided to experiment with something beyond their grasp. It's hard, of course, to understand what's even going on here. But, to be honest, this one didn't work for me. It's too obvious, like I put on something that doesn't suit me. It feels like it's not just a perfume, but a whole outfit that's weighing you down. I don't know how anyone could perceive this as something good )
