Description of the composition

The composition of Cedrus unfolds as a layered story, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Chloé comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum supports the right density and pace of development.

Right at the start you detect cardamom-peppery opening note: Cardamom. Exactly this 1 note builds piquant dynamism that anchors the first impression immediately.

At the core of development you meet Sandalwood and Vetiver holding a velvety sandalwood direction. At drydown level the structure settles through Oak moss and Woody Accord, shaping a damp forest trail.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Wood and Spicy with each one in a clear role. The profile is feminine, which clarifies the composition character.

From the group perspective the profile is anchored in Spicy, Wood and Earthy / Mossy. At family level the fragrance belongs to Wood.

Overall Cedrus reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best understood through real development.

In summer, this fragrance is simply magnificent, especially in the heat. It unfolded so beautifully! The cedar notes became softer, and milky nuances added interest. Woody accents are still present, but now they sound different. I'm absolutely delighted, such a perfume definitely needs to be in a large volume! )))

At first, I thought this was a men's fragrance. It's quite restrained, with woody and mossy notes. In the beginning, there's a sharpness, tickling spices slip through, and then a light, cool breeze appears. But it lacks friendliness, it's as if it's closed off, not seeking communication. In the end, it's completely unfeminine
