Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Bois d'Hadrien is shaped as a layered story, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Goutal Paris comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum emphasizes a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Wood, Balsamic, Musk and Coniferous. At family level the fragrance belongs to Coniferous and Wood.

Without strict stage separation the fragrance opens as a single chord with a noble cedar mood: Cedar, Fir Resin, Frankincense, Pine and musk. In this case 5 notes act as one voice, building lasting warm resonance that feels seamless.

The inner phases are perceived as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The accord architecture is shaped by these accords: Balsamic, Musc and Wood with each one in a clear role. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

In summary Bois d'Hadrien holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best experienced on skin.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The fragrance is not bad, of course, but it's clearly more for men. Spices and resins are mixed in such a way that it creates a feeling like you're in a men's restroom. Refreshing, yes, but somehow too sharp. I can't say it smells expensive, rather, just ordinary. All in all, it didn't impress me

The smell of wood, lime, and spices - that's all I can say about it. Sometimes it feels cozy, but most often it causes a feeling of sharpness and discomfort. I don't know how anyone could recommend this. Better stay away )
