Legendary Fragrance from Goutal Paris

In 1982, during the heyday of French perfumery, Goutal Paris introduced Eau De Charlotte toilet water to the world, becoming a symbol of tenderness and elegance.

Released in 1982, this composition is part of the Les Merveilleux Portraits collection, where each fragrance is an artistic portrait embodied in scents.

Eau De Charlotte captures the essence of youthful charm and sophistication, making it a timeless classic for perfume enthusiasts.

Creative Legacy of Annick Goutal

Created by Annick Goutal, this fragrance reflects her unique style, combining musical harmony with natural ingredients.

As the founder of Goutal Paris, Goutal brought poetry and personal stories into perfumery, and Eau De Charlotte is a prime example of this approach.

Its influence on the brand solidified the house's reputation as a pioneer of niche perfumery, offering fragrances with soul and character.

Gentle Aura for Modern Women

Positioned as a feminine fragrance, Eau De Charlotte is perfect for women who value subtlety and sophistication in daily life.

Its subtle sillage creates an intimate and comfortable aura, ideal for the office, dates, or informal gatherings.

As an eau de toilette, it offers a fresh and light resonance that unfolds gradually, emphasizing the naturalness of the notes.

For optimal effect, it is recommended to apply it to pulse points, such as wrists and neck, so that body warmth enhances the fragrance.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth

What a cool, powdery-creamy scent! You can really pick up mimosa, lily, and a hint of chocolate in it. A real feast for the senses!

Annick Goutal? Oh please, what nonsense. Lightness and airiness? Laughable. This is more like some rubbish that tries to seem delicate but actually just suffocates. It's like trying to hide from the whole world, but in reality, you're just creating more problems for yourself. Honestly, loved ones have no business here. Tried it out? I don't even know what there is to try. All in all, not impressed

The scent is sweet, but at the same time very delicate. I can feel notes of ripe blackcurrant, mimosa with vanilla, and a little cocoa. It reminds me of a high-quality, expensive skincare product. I really liked this smell 😔

the scent is really very pleasant, with powdery and chocolate-vanilla notes. it evokes associations with a well-groomed and neat girl. in childhood, I also had a collection of dolls, and one of them reminded me of this smell. the perfume doesn't replicate that scent, rather, it's an adult version. it's soft, doesn't cause headaches or nausea. there's no overt sweetness, but gourmand notes are discernible. it sounds sophisticated, yet fresh and youthful, not old-fashioned. associations with it: lace dresses, a young noblewoman, a cool summer dacha, bouquets of mimosas, and old cocoa jars. overall, it's a lovely and cozy scent that doesn't tire you out. in summer, it can be worn for evening strolls, and its sillage and longevity are pleasing

How delightful it is to feel mimosa in this creamy scent with a slight bitterness of lily! 🌼 The tenderness of the fragrance is simply captivating, but unfortunately, on my skin, it's not very long-lasting or strong, which is why I'm a bit critical of it. But everyone else loves it, many associate it with a spring holiday! 🌸

Imagine yourself diving into the world of spring, with mimosa blooming all around. This yellow cloud of tenderness embraces you, and the pollen, getting into your nose, causes a slight tickle. It feels like spring is an endless celebration, like March 8th, that never ends. But it doesn't stop there. Then you start to feel light notes of young lily, which hasn't yet become sweet and heavy, as it happens with mature flowers. I was a little worried about cocoa in the scent, but fortunately, it's not here

This fragrance reminds me of Kenzo Summer. I used to have that perfume, and I really liked it. If someone wants to buy it without testing, but is already familiar with Kenzo, they can get a more or less clear idea of this fragrance

The smell reminds me of a heavy lily… sometimes it happens like that. Some inexpensive niche perfumes have exactly that kind of undertone. But if you set that note aside, the other aspects of the fragrance are quite pleasant and perfectly adequate. Overall, the scent isn't bad, in my opinion. If it weren't for that lily
