Fragrance information:

Since 2015, Vanille Charnelle Goutal Paris has never stopped surprising. A unisex fragrance from the east family. Created by the skilled hands of Isabelle Doyen and Camille Goutal. A fragrance from the Absolus collection, in eau de parfum.

It has a delicate sillage, staying close and personal. It's a light presence — longevity is low, perfect for those who love something airy. Produced in France, and you can feel it in every note. Vanille Charnelle Goutal Paris unfolds gradually, effortlessly, and with great refinement — a perfect choice for day or evening.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The composition of Vanille Charnelle is built as a cohesive olfactory arc, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The signature of Goutal Paris is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum supports the depth and body this composition needs.

The accord profile is shaped by these accords: Gourmet, Floral, Musc and Wood without random overlap. Background accords such as Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read. For persistence Low suggests confident staying power. In diffusion Weak defines the projection profile in space.

At the opening of the pyramid you detect spicy sparkling first notes: Black Pepper and ylang-ylang.

In the middle phase you meet Musk, Tonka bean and Vanilla holding a leathery musky direction.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Spicy, Whiteflower, Musk and Gourmet. It also reaches into Wood.

In summary Vanille Charnelle sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best judged on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.
Persistence
Low (1 to 2 hours)
2
Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

2
Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Vanilla and flowers in this scent create a rather dense feeling. If you overdo it, it can start to feel oppressive. It feels like being enveloped in a warm cloud, but it's not always pleasant. It's definitely an evening, heavy scent, and perhaps not for every occasion
