This perfume is always with me! I get tons of compliments. It's so bright, yet light, like a watercolor. Although I like the classic version more - the anise there sounds softer, while here it's so crisp and aldehydic. I don't recommend it to those who love sweet fragrances

I noticed Mandragora when I saw the name. In fantasy and old fairy tales, there's often mention of the magical root. The scent is herbaceous, delicate, but with characteristic bright notes. I wear it only for myself, because for too many of my acquaintances, anise brings up associations with children's cough medicines and healing balms. It's sad, but that's how it is

I don't know what wormwood smells like, but I immediately associate it with this plant. I smell patchouli, frankincense, and rosemary, as well as cologne. Interestingly, I can't imagine a 'mermaid' with such a scent. What a strange choice for a woman, maybe Baba Yaga? 😒 On me, it smells different than on paper. From the blotter, I sense medicinal notes, but on my skin - only grass and cologne, without those medicinal notes. This fragrance is definitely not for me. Yes, it's invigorating, yes, it's interesting, yes, it's long-lasting, but it's not my thing

What a wonderful and fresh scent! It's herbaceous, but with a slight tartness and minty coolness, which makes it simply delightful. Honestly, I expected something similar to medicinal smells, but in reality, it turned out to be very natural and pleasant to perceive. A true delight

A scent in which notes of forest, spices, and wildflowers intertwine. It has a resinous and minty hue, as well as a noticeable hint of frankincense. A very interesting, rich, and beautiful fragrance

This scent, as if pulled from the forest, woody-herbal, and with a hint of potion. Natural, but not in a good way. Anise just bursts to the forefront here, and then bitter and juicy herbs start to get annoying. I feel mint too, but it doesn't save it. In the end, only a feeling of some kind of cleanliness remains, but that's not what I want 😒

Perhaps the name of the fragrance and its legend are indeed connected to the colors that come to mind when I smell it: rich dark green and deep purple. That, perhaps, is the whole essence. It's very herbaceous, reminiscent of Eau de Sud, but doesn't cause the same discomfort. Mandragora Purpur is an herb, but not fresh and light, rather heavy, gloomy, like a forest where a sullen witch doctor lives. This fragrance is more suitable for autumn, when leaves begin to yellow and fall, when a certain sadness and mystery, a sepulchral calm and silence reign around. I won't say much, as Eau de Sud overshadowed all impressions, that's first. And secondly, I haven't tried the classic Mandragora. So I'm interested in testing both versions and, based on that comparison, understanding whether I like something or not, and what it's connected to. Again, it can cause a bit of a headache, especially in summer heat. So it's worth being careful with it
