The smell of 8 88 evokes such feelings in me: imagine sitting in a cozy room where the warmth of the fireplace embraces you, and outside the window it's a gray rain. Your gaze falls on an old picture in a frame depicting Isaac, and it seems time has stopped. It’s a feeling of melancholy and longing, as if something important is slipping away while you just watch. In short, I don't know how to explain it, but there is something sad and simultaneously attractive about this fragrance

Sometimes it drifts into dry spices, other times it unexpectedly opens up with geranium and fresh saffron. Patchouli and amber add depth, while smoky frankincense creates an atmosphere. You can wear it, but not every day-it's more of a celebration than a daily routine. It lifts your spirits, wakes you up, and makes your head spin, yet leaves a sense of sadness. What does gold smell like? Antoine Lie created a strange scent. Warm saffron, coriander and geranium mix with turmeric - you can hear it in 8 88. Frankincense smoke lifts the spicy blend, creating a picture. It's synthetic, artificial molecules add metallic notes. Combined with spices, a bright sillage - the smell of success, but unnatural. In frost it sounds like this, in heat it transports you to an Indian market, in cool weather it rings like bells. But there's sadness in it, as if something is lost

I bought this perfume, applied it, and expected to be struck by bright spices and aromatics. But alas, that didn't happen, and I still don't feel anything like that((( I can't judge it. The scent is truly beautiful and very correct. No sharp notes, just softness and sophistication - that's for sure. It reminds me of the Coco Chanel style. I'm not sure if gold can smell like this in a way that's noticeable, but the aristocratic nature of the scent and its associations with wealth are real. At first it seemed chypre, but actually it's not like that at all... Rather, it's a very subtle oriental scent

In my opinion, the scent is clearly not unisex, but rather traditionally masculine. At first, it's quite sharp and bright, with turmeric and coriander immediately hitting the nose. When the fragrance develops, cologne-like notes appear that are completely unsuitable for women. The scent is, of course, beautiful, but not unique - something similar has already been encountered, especially in the mass market. I can't say I'm disappointed, but it doesn't bring me joy either 😐

Reading reviews about the 38, I noticed opinions are completely different, and none are the same. This caught my attention to the scent, especially considering my interest in this brand. I managed to snag a mini by chance, and now I have it. The scent is warm and spicy, even fruity notes can be heard. It's kind of vague, introverted, feels something retro. But I definitely won't buy a full bottle, it didn't cause excitement 😕

Haven't used this perfume for a long time, it seems like it's time to open it again. For me, it is associated with September — golden autumn, when it rains then sun. Warm, with spicy notes, in the heart you feel frankincense, and in the base gentle patchouli and sweet amber. This scent is one of my favorites in the style of Coco Chanel. I love it! 🌼

The scent from the bottle is simply superb! You can immediately tell it's something special. When I put it on, it reminded me of something from the past, from old times. And it turns out it's Givenchy Gentleman. A real hit!!!
