Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Woods 2010 Edition is shaped as a continuous scent journey, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The style of Abercrombie & Fitch is evident from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de Cologne sets a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The olfactory framework is shaped by these accords: Aromatic, Musc and Wood without random overlap. The stylistic positioning is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

When the structure is mixed the opening appears as one connected movement with a refreshing grassy mood: Lavender, Vetiver and musk. In this case 3 notes sound as one voice, creating natural freshness that keeps the opening compact and balanced.

The inner phases are perceived as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which gives the structure continuity.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Green, Wood and Musk. Within olfactory families the scent maps to Fern and Wood.

Overall Woods 2010 Edition reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail. These are the fragrances best judged on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The scent reminds me of foliage lying under trees after the rain. It's so fresh, but at the same time, it evokes sadness. Nature seems to whisper about something lost, something that can't be brought back. A green fragrance, but with a touch of melancholy, as if it holds memories of something important
