Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Nombre Noir unfolds as a layered story, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The signature of Shiseido comes through from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum keeps the right density and pace of development.

At the opening of the pyramid you sense glowing neon first notes: Aldehydes, Bergamot, Coriander and Marjoram. Exactly these 4 notes shape unexpected conceptual play that anchors the first impression immediately.

At the core of development you notice Clove, Geranium, Iris, Jasmine, Lily of the Valley and Osmanthus carrying a velvety rose-iris direction.

The accord profile is driven by these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral without random overlap. Additional accords such as Musc, Wood, Powdery and Amber add depth to the backdrop.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Fairy, Citrus, Spicy and Aromatic. The framework further includes Wood, Floral, Whiteflower and Ambery.
