Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Oud Ulya unfolds as a continuous scent journey, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Amouage is evident in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Perfume extract keeps the depth and body this composition needs.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Animals, Wood, Balsamic and Gourmet. Within olfactory families the scent maps to Animals, East and Wood.

Without strict stage separation the opening appears as one connected movement with a musky-amber mood: Civet, Oud, Tar and Vanilla. Here 4 notes sound as one coherent layer, forming dense bodily depth that keeps the opening compact and balanced.

The deeper layers are perceived as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Animalistic, Wood and Spicy with each one in a clear role. The profile is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.
