Identity and Release History of Cinema

Imagine a fragrance that, from the first seconds, transports you to a world of gloss and cinematic brilliance – this is Cinema from the legendary house of Yves Saint Laurent.

Released in 2004, this perfume became part of the Cinema collection, reflecting the spirit of courage and emancipation inherent to the brand.

In an era when the perfume industry was seeking new forms of self-expression, Cinema offered women a trail reminiscent of Hollywood's golden age, but with a modern accent.

This fragrance belongs to the Floral and Oriental families, making it a versatile choice for those who appreciate a balance of tenderness and depth.

Since its release, Cinema has won the hearts of fans seeking a perfume with character – not too intrusive but self-assured, perfectly suited for evening outings or special moments.

Positioning and How to Wear Cinema

Women's fragrance Cinema is concentrated in the form of eau de parfum, ensuring the longevity and intensity characteristic of Eau de Parfum.

Its medium trail leaves behind a soft but noticeable trace – without overwhelming the space, it attracts attention with delicate waves.

It is recommended to apply 2-3 sprays on the skin in pulse points such as wrists and neck so that the body's warmth unfolds all facets of the composition; for a longer-lasting effect, one can add a spray on clothing, avoiding light fabrics.

Cinema is perfectly suited for cool evenings or romantic dates when you want to feel like a screen star.

Its versatility allows it to be worn during daytime as well, especially in the autumn-winter season when oriental notes sound particularly warm and cozy.

If you are looking for a fragrance that highlights your individuality without excessive drama, Cinema will be a faithful companion.

Creators and Influence on the Industry

Behind the creation of this masterpiece are two outstanding perfumers: Fabrice Legros and Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud, whose talent gave Cinema a unique depth and elegance.

Their collaboration with the house of Yves Saint Laurent, known for its provocative and bold decisions, allowed for the creation of a fragrance that harmoniously fits into the brand's DNA, emphasizing its commitment to emancipation and artistic expression.

Cinema influenced the perfume industry, inspiring other brands to experiment with floral-oriental chords.

If this fragrance has won your heart, pay attention to similar options, such as Giorgio Armani Armani Code Pour Femme, Guerlain L'Instant Magic, and Fendi Fan di Fendi.

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Cinema begins with a vibrant opening: cyclamen and clementine create a fresh, slightly citrusy accord that quickly intertwines with the gentle almond blossom, adding soft sweetness.

At the heart of the fragrance, a rich bouquet unfolds: amaryllis adds floral depth, peony brings romantic notes, and jasmine enriches the composition with a sensual white floral trail.

The base envelops with warm and cozy chords: amber and benzoin create a velvety foundation, white musk adds purity and longevity, and vanilla concludes everything with a sweet, gourmand finish.

This journey from freshness to warmth makes Cinema a multifaceted and memorable fragrance.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

The fragrance is really cozy and warm. It has a lot of vanilla, benzoin, and citrus notes that create an enveloping feeling. Jasmine also plays its part, adding interesting accents

The fragrance is simply amazing! It evokes a festive feeling, filling you with joy and cheer, as if you're at a vibrant celebration with a glass of champagne in hand

This perfume can safely be called one of the most memorable fragrances of its time. It's truly elegant and noble, just like its bottle 🌸 In its composition, I catch not only floral notes but also sweet black tea, which is surprising. I don't quite understand where this effect comes from, but it's definitely there. I think such a fragrance is better worn in the colder seasons, although it can also be a great evening option in summer 🍃

Every time I see this bottle, I feel the urge to pick it up. But no matter how many times I've approached it - when it first came out, later, and very recently - I still haven't been able to love this fragrance

A citrus and vanilla fragrance. It truly creates an atmosphere of joy and coziness. Very feminine, long-lasting, and leaves a pleasant sillage )

This fragrance is simply amazing, it gives a feeling of coziness and warmth. I really like it. There's something vintage about it, but that's precisely what adds a special style and charm to it. I can't pinpoint the notes exactly, but on me, it sounds very harmonious and complete ))

A fragrance where almond, vanilla, and resins blend, complemented by the fresh bitterness of citrus. It's truly a warm and rich scent that leaves a lasting sillage. A true masterpiece worth trying! 🌟

I have the EDT. I see that EDT and EDP really differ a lot. My EDT is a light, sparkling veil, with notes of lemon, almond, and vanilla. It reminds me of sweet pear soda from childhood, but the perfume is very long-lasting and leaves a gorgeous sillage!!! The EDP, however, is something denser, with notes of tobacco and strong lemon tea. Both fragrances are simply magnificent

This fragrance simply blew me away. Strangely, there's no honey in the notes, but on my skin, it unfolds with a distinct honeyed sweetness, like hot floral tea. Bright, memorable - it won't leave your mind, leaving a trail of unforgettable impressions. Citrus and vanilla aren't noticeable here, only honey and floral notes that shimmer like sunbeams. The sillage is so enticing, it makes people turn their heads. This perfume always delights others, it truly ignites and creates a special mood

I sink into a soft velvet cinema armchair, a little dust around, and rain outside the window. It's warm and cozy, like stepping into another world. A faint scent of film reel hangs in the air, and this anticipation is captivating. I don't want to delve into details, just enjoying the moment. I spray it on clothes, but on skin, alas, it doesn't last long - not even an hour passes. Stop, moment!)))

The fragrance fills the space with benzoin and citrus, and the vanilla here is smooth and lingering, but not too sweet. It's the scent of a confident older woman, exuding calm and luxury 🌸

The sillage is simply awful, so intrusive you don't know how to get rid of it. Heat is no obstacle for it at all, as if it's specifically designed to suffocate. It sounds stylish, of course, but that doesn't save it - in any weather, it's oppressive, just awful! 😤

This fragrance became a real discovery for me. At first, I wasn't going to try it, but something drew me to it. Just then, mini-versions appeared at Letu, and I couldn't resist. And, as I expected, it's really cool. Without a doubt, it's excellent 💖

Agreed, Cinema can indeed be called a legend in the world of perfumery. The composition is simply magnificent, and the work on the fragrance is top-notch. It's warm, floral, with bright citrus notes and a resinous-ambery accord that adds depth 🌸

The sillage of the fragrance always makes me look back, searching for its wearer. Usually, I notice her by her elegant style, confident gait, and chic coat. In such moments, how she looks isn't as important; the main thing is the overall impression
