Tom Ford cannot boast a classic history of a perfume house. In fact, his path isn't all that interesting. The designer doesn't delve into philosophical reflections or emphasize "precious natural oils". He chose two directions: quality and shock value. Sex is what he sells, and everyone knows that. The names of his fragrances often spark controversy and discussion. The line includes both commercially successful scents and genuine bestsellers, which confirms that not every product needs many years to become iconic. A prime example is Lost Cherry. Tom Ford's shock value is usually hidden in the names, and "Lost Innocence" is a name that immediately grabs attention. <br><br>The cherry scent here is presented in all its manifestations: fresh berry, sweet jam, and thanks to spicy and woody notes, you can even catch an almond nuance of the cherry pit. But, essentially, that's all there is to say about Lost Cherry. There are no deep meanings or unexpected twists. Woody and floral notes are present, but they are only for balance and contrast. Instead of complex compositions, Tom Ford offers a clear, high-quality, and beautiful fragrance. To those who like to ponder perfumery, it might seem simple and even boring, but for fans of fruity fragrances, especially cherry, Lost Cherry is something worth trying

I can't say I share the general admiration for this fragrance. I don't really like the cherry-sweet cherry smell; I don't want to smell like a dessert. I definitely wouldn't go on a date with such a perfume. Yes, it's not bad on its own, but for me, it's more like a "why not" kind of thing. It's especially strange when older women wear it. When I smell this fragrance, an image comes to mind: a glossy magazine housewife sitting at a table with a porcelain tea set, in a 60s dress with a neat hairstyle and a ribbon, but with bright red lipstick. Mine just sits unused; I guess I bought it once, swept up in the fashion hype ))

At first, you smell cherry, but it's kind of soggy and smoky in the base. The longevity is just awful. From Ford, I expected not only provocative names but also fragrances that would truly stand out. Though, to be honest, cherry on a man can play out in a special way (I imagine a charismatic brunette with eyes like ripe cherries) Cherry liqueur is exactly what it is: alcoholic notes, cherry, and almond, plus a slight hint of rose. What was promised, that's what we got. A cocktail cherry, for which they spare no effort to achieve the desired effect. Delicious, yes, but it's more for late autumn and winter. With a cashmere scarf and a warm coat, it'll be simply perfect 🍂
