History and Positioning

Sugar Pink by H&M was launched in 2014 and is a women’s eau de parfum belonging to the fruity and spicy fragrance families.

When it comes to H&M fragrances, many people often picture simple, affordable scents found in the cosmetics section.

However, the fragrance story of this Swedish fast-fashion giant is a fascinating example of how a fashion retailer managed to create a fully fledged perfume line.

Sugar Pink is vivid proof of this: a playful, flirtatious fragrance that evokes the feeling of a summer celebration.

Olfactory Palette and Sillage

The Sugar Pink composition is built around a contrast of sweet fruity notes and spicy accents.

At the heart of the fragrance, delicate jasmine unfolds, framed by warm coriander, while the base envelops the skin in sensual musk and sweet vanilla.

The top notes feature juicy orange and velvety peach, while sandalwood adds woody warmth.

The fragrance’s sillage is subtle, making it ideal for everyday wear—it remains intimate and unobtrusive. The brand’s official website: http://www.nutrimetics.fr.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

A fragrance with notes of citrus and vanilla, with a light peach accent. It's quite suitable for creating an atmosphere, evokes positive emotions, and doesn't smell artificial 🍑

The fragrance is simply incredible, sweet and very pleasant. It brings joy and lightness, not feeling serious at all. Although the longevity leaves something to be desired, it's good that it's not sticky and doesn't become cloying. A real pleasure!
