Description of the composition

The scent of Urban Rose evolves as a living composition, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The signature of H&M is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Citrus, Wood and Floral.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the fragrance opens as a single chord with a glittering citrus mood: Bergamot, Patchouli and Rose. In this case 3 notes sound as one voice, building a burst of citrus freshness that feels seamless.

The middle and base stages are read as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which keeps the fragrance coherent.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Citrus, Floral and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. The gender direction is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Overall Urban Rose sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best understood through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

It's just a light rose scent. It seems like a heavily diluted rose essential oil, and the quality leaves much to be desired. This smell didn't impress me
