Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Eau de Jasmin Rouge is shaped as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The style of Tom Ford comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de toilette supports a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The accord profile rests on these accords: Aquatic, Citrus, Floral and Spicy forming a compact and readable structure. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which clarifies the composition character.

In the first seconds you sense radiant lemon-bergamot top notes: Bergamot and Citrus accord.

In the heart you detect Aquatic accord and Jasmine carrying a smoky-mineral direction. In the final layer the line is anchored through Cardamom, shaping a deep spicy trail.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Mineral, Whiteflower and Spicy. The palette also extends to Floral. At family level the fragrance belongs to Citrus, Floral and Spicy.

Overall Eau de Jasmin Rouge holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best experienced through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.
Sillage
Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

I know, I know its older brother! The scent is really nice, but, like all Fords, it's too SCREAMING for me. I wonder how it'll perform here, hoping it'll be friendlier!
