The perfume reminds me of Molinard's Lavande, but Ford made it fresher and lighter. In its composition, you can detect not only lavender but also tonka beans, benzoin with sage. Over time, the fragrance becomes increasingly cold until it completely disappears. Overall, not a bad option, but there are more affordable alternatives 😏

It's been hard to expect anything outstanding from Tom Ford lately - none of the new fragrances have gained the same popularity as Tobacco Vanille or Tuscan Leather. Although I'm not a fan of the latter, I understand why they are so loved. It seems the designer is either tired or has handed over creative control to someone else. I tried the new release just to write this review and stay informed. But Lavender Extreme surprised me. From the blotter, it diffused a soft creamy-lavender light, bloomed with many ash-violet flowers, and elegantly passed from nose to heart without encountering any obstacles. It's an incredible beauty. The modern Russian consumer's attitude towards this ingredient is changing: lavender is less and less associated with protecting fur coats from moths. Lavender Extreme is the perfect product that can take a worthy place on the pedestal. It's about lavender, about its flowers that smell fresh and sweet. Woody-camphor notes are only audible at the beginning, but they don't spoil the overall impression. Structurally, it's a classic fougère with citruses and coumarin, but I don't remember anything quite so beautiful. The main accord is lavender, vanilla, tonka beans, and mossy-labdanum amber. Labdanum and oakmoss, along with a light violet and cinnamon, give the composition a retro hue, which only enhances its beauty. The vanilla-coumarin sweetness seems to bathe in yellow light, nourishing the fragrance and swaying on the waves. Lavender Extreme has a perfect contrast: between the sexuality of Tom Ford products and an aristocratic old-fashionedness that feels new. The fragrance is relevant and timeless; it could have been in Chanel's boutique line - such refined motifs are not typical for Tom Ford. There is no vulgarity or straightforwardness here, but there is restraint, pedigree, and elegance. The balance of accords is impressive

Ford's perfume turned out really interesting. It looks classic, even old-school, you could say. The lavender here isn't extreme; rather, it's superb. Surrounded by this lavender, tonka beans and vanilla create an amazing effect, and even though vanilla isn't listed in the pyramid, I really love it here. You can faintly smell rose, violet, and geranium. In the beginning, lavender with lemon sounds quite bright, but it's not extreme, as it soon becomes softer and cozier. The fragrance lasts on the skin for up to 8 hours, but the sillage, unfortunately, is a bit short. Overall, it's definitely unisex

Not impressed! Wearable, but nothing more. Lavender isn't my thing; I succumbed to the hype and decided to find my perfect fragrance with this note, but alas, this isn't it. They say the lavender here is good, maybe, but the base - that warm, sweet vanilla-coumarin note - makes the fragrance too simple, in my opinion. It seems to lose its sophistication and become more accessible. It sounds prestigious, but in reality, it's just simple and high-quality, without much chic 😕

For me, this fragrance is primarily associated with cinnamon, roses, and lemons. I really liked it, in the base it becomes a bit powdery. I didn't detect lavender, but geranium is noticeable, albeit in a light version

Tom Ford's fragrance, released in 2019, immediately caught the attention of old-fashioned perfume lovers, although calling it old-fashioned doesn't feel right. Perfumer Olivier Gillotin clearly drew inspiration from the past. Lavender Extreme is, first and foremost, an oriental composition where a sweet-balsamic woody base takes center stage. At its core are labdanum and oakmoss, slightly softened by milky vanilla. This delicate creamy nuance permeates the entire composition, creating a calm and balanced backdrop. And above this base accord, like a flag, lavender unfurls - classic, sweetish, and very elegant.

Ford doesn't make boring fragrances, and this one is no exception. Yes, it's classic, might seem a bit heavy and demanding a certain approach, but this seriousness can actually be deceptive, as if it's part of some sexual game the American designer loves to promote. If you change your perception of Lavender Extreme, it easily becomes an excellent addition to both everyday and evening looks

At first, only lavender is felt, and it lasts quite a while. Then a light sweetness and powdery notes appear, but nothing special. I don't understand why pay so much money for this if you don't love lavender. But the bottle is indeed gorgeous 😔

I can't understand why it's so expensive. Paying money for a fragrance that's essentially just lavender, even with spices, feels a bit insulting. In the drydown, I smell cinnamon and a tiny bit of vanilla, but it's all too simple and unexpressive
