Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Orange Bitters evolves as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The style of Jo Malone is evident in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de Cologne emphasizes a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The accord architecture is driven by these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Wood without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Amber and Cosmetic add depth to the backdrop. The profile is unisex, which clarifies the composition character. In projection Weak shows the style of diffusion around the wearer.

As soon as the fragrance opens you meet invigorating sunny first notes: Aldehydes, Orange and Petitgrain.

At the core of development you notice Bitter Orange, Jasmine and Prune keeping a pure citrus-floral direction.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Ambery, Citrus, Fruit and Wood. The palette also extends to Fairy, Whiteflower, Green and Gourmet.

Overall Orange Bitters reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best understood on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

The citrus-spicy scent is really bright, it's like it conveys the spirit of winter holidays. However, this is more of a European Christmas, like in Prague, where the weather allows wearing colognes. Here, with severe frosts, the fragrance might lose its intensity. But in humid St. Petersburg, it can unfold quite nicely!

Every year it delights the eye on the shelves of Christmas collections. This scent is citrusy, but not overly bright and juicy. Rather, it's calm and a little warming. True comfort in a bottle! ))))
