Scents of eras: how perfume reflects the spirit of the times
Every era has its own scent. Not literally, but in how it felt: what it wanted, what it feared, what...

Perfumes for the fall and winter seasons often contain notes of vanilla, spices, ambergris, wood, and other warm accords, creating a feeling of comfort and warmth during the cold months
The scent of Leather & Artemisia is built as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The style of Jo Malone comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de Cologne keeps the right density and pace of development.
When the structure is mixed the notes arrive together with a cocktail multi-layered mood: Absinthe, Iris, Leather accord and Nagarmotha. Here 4 notes sound as one voice, forming evening bar-code effect that feels seamless.
The deeper layers are perceived as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which keeps the fragrance coherent.
The olfactory framework rests on these accords: Aromatic, Wood, Powdery and Leather with each one in a clear role. The profile is unisex, which clarifies the composition character. In wear duration Middle suggests confident staying power.
At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Drinks, Leather, Wood and Floral. At family level the fragrance belongs to Leather and Wood.
Taken together Leather & Artemisia reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best understood on skin.

When I smelled it, I remembered some lines, but that doesn't matter. Artemisia? Yes, it's here, but not in a way that could be called special. Just a light hint of artemisia that leaves no impression. And as for suede and iris pollen - that's just laughable. As if someone decided to mix everything up and pass it off as a masterpiece.
This glove with absinthe, lying on a bench? What's the point of all this? No romance, just boredom. Corporeality and piquancy? Yes, if corporeality means something expressionless. A slight bitterness? More like just tastelessness.
A fragrance for the office or a walk? I don't know who would like this. It's not an introvert, but simply unnoticeable. Aura and veil? Yes, if a veil means something that is quickly forgotten. In short, it's just an impressionistic attempt that leaves no mood at all
