In 2021, the world of perfumery was enriched by a new masterpiece from Jo Malone — Yellow Hibiscus Cologne, which instantly transports you to a world of tropical summer and blooming gardens.

This fragrance is part of the seasonal Blossoms Collection, dedicated to bright impressions and natural elegance.

Jo Malone London, a legend in English perfumery, continues to surprise with its philosophy of simplicity and modernity, making each release desirable for connoisseurs.

The Blossoms Collection by Jo Malone is an annual celebration of spring and summer, where each fragrance is dedicated to a specific flower, and Yellow Hibiscus Cologne focuses on the exotic hibiscus, a symbol of warmth and vitality.

This cologne perfectly fits into the brand's DNA, offering a fresh and universal approach to perfumery that captivates from the first breath.

Positioning and character of the fragrance

Yellow Hibiscus Cologne is classified as a unisex fragrance, ideally suited for those seeking lightness and naturalness in daily life.

In the concentration of eau de cologne, it offers an airy texture with a barely perceptible trail, making it ideal for the office, dates, or walks on warm days.

It belongs to the floral family of fragrances, but with a citrus accent, adding playfulness and freshness, which appeals to a wide audience.

Thanks to its light trail, Yellow Hibiscus Cologne can be applied boldly, without fear of overwhelming others, although exact recommendations for dosage on skin and clothing are not specified.

For optimal development, it is recommended to use 2-3 sprays on pulse points to enjoy the full journey of the fragrance from top to base.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

The scent is actually not bad, with a slight tartness. It seems like it would be great for warm days. Yeah, quite simple, but there's a charm to that. The smell is fresh, like refreshing water. You can feel citrus, and also a slight hint of rose in hibiscus tea - something like that. It creates a feeling of coolness, like you're strolling through an English park 🌿

Hibiscus, in my opinion, doesn't have a scent, at least the flower itself doesn't smell 😅 Maybe there are some varieties I don't know about that smell like bird cherry in spring 🌸 The bottle, by the way, looks quite interesting, it seems like it's 1001 variations on the rose theme. Where's our Isabo, this is definitely her style! 😊

Sourish rose with rough bitterness and musk. Nothing special, simple and light. Suitable for warm late spring or early summer. Longevity is poor

it's really pink. not bright, but rather light, with a watery texture and a slight sweetness. honestly, it's not worth its money, unless, of course, the price doesn't matter to you

This fragrance reminded me of tea, but like, you know, with rose petals! And there's also a citrus freshness in it, which adds a lightness. A wonderful summer perfume! Although it didn't become my favorite, I happily discovered something new!!!

Honestly, the bottles with the new geometry didn't impress me. But the fragrance itself is a real find! Light citrus notes, floral accents - all this creates a feeling of freshness and lightness. But, to be frank, the price doesn't match the quality of the scent

hibiscus isn't really felt here, the scent rather reminds me of rose with a light citrusy tartness, enveloped in musk. summery, yeah, but it's more like something you'd want to wear on vacation. there's something pleasant about it, but at the same time it leaves a bitter aftertaste
