Fragrance information:

Osmanthus Blossom joined the Jo Malone portfolio in 2013. By character, a feminine fragrance drawing from the fruit and floral families. Available as eau de cologne.

It has a very delicate sillage, staying close and personal. A delicate fragrance with very low longevity — but what a first impression it makes. Produced in the United Kingdom, and you can feel it in every note. Also available in other concentrations: jo malone osmanthus blossom 2020. Osmanthus Blossom Jo Malone unfolds gradually, effortlessly, and with great refinement — a perfect choice for day or evening.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Osmanthus Blossom unfolds as a cohesive olfactory arc, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The signature of Jo Malone comes through from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de Cologne sets the depth and body this composition needs.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Floral, Musk, Whiteflower and Fruit. At family level the scent maps to Floral and Fruit.

Even without a fully detailed top section the composition still reads balanced and structured, and the first accord arrives without noise.

When the opening settles you detect Osmanthus carrying a opulent floral direction.

The accord profile rests on these accords: Floral and Musc forming a compact and readable structure. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which clarifies the composition character. For persistence Very low suggests confident staying power. In diffusion Very weak describes the way the scent radiates.

In summary Osmanthus Blossom reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best judged in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.
Persistence
Extremely low (up to 1 hour)
1
Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.
Sillage
Extremely inconspicuous
1
Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Osmanthus, of course, I like it, especially when it smells like peaches. But in this case, it unfolds quite differently - the flowers are somewhat transparent, a little rough, with a tobacco note and green nectarines. The scent is pleasant, but too quiet and not long-lasting, as if it blends with Nectarine and Linden Blossom. Overall, I liked it, but I wouldn't choose it for myself. Rather, I'd buy a scented candle for the room. So, all that's left is to remember what could have been better. )))

The perfume is too light, almost imperceptible. It's only suitable for spring and summer, but at other times it seems completely out of place. As if it's just not enough to leave a trace
