Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Sakura Cherry Blossom is shaped as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The signature of Jo Malone is clear from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de Cologne supports the depth and body this composition needs.

Right at the start you meet sparkling citrus first notes: Bergamot and Mandarin. Exactly these 2 notes set a burst of citrus freshness that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

In the central layer you sense Mimosa, Orchid and Rose holding a harmonious floral direction.

The olfactory framework rests on these accords: Citrus, Floral, Musc and Wood without random overlap. The profile is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read. For persistence Middle indicates a stable lasting impression.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Floral, Wood and Musk. It also reaches into Whiteflower. Within olfactory families the scent maps to Floral.

In summary Sakura Cherry Blossom holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best understood on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This fragrance, pink and transparent, actually evokes no emotions. For such a price, I expected more, but alas, nothing special. The word "Sakura" brings to mind something refined and exotic, but here it's just a simple rose with a light citrus accent. The longevity is simply nonexistent. In the end, it's a complete disappointment, and that's very sad
