Perfume information

Description of the composition

The composition of Nashi Blossom unfolds as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Jo Malone is evident from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de Cologne emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

The olfactory framework is built around these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Musc without random overlap. Additional accords such as Wood and Amber add depth to the backdrop. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read. In longevity terms Low suggests confident staying power.

As soon as the fragrance opens you detect invigorating sunny first notes: Bergamot, Lemon and Pear.

When the opening settles you sense Apple, Pear blossom and Rose holding a opulent floral direction.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Citrus, Fruit, Floral and Ambery. It also reaches into Musk, Wood and Whiteflower.

Overall Nashi Blossom sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best understood through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

2
Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth

The pear here really comes across as natural and pleasant. It smells soft, without excessive sweetness. If you add Oolong, it becomes simply incredible - such a cozy and delicate composition! This is a scent that's great for both the office and weekends. In winter, it will be especially fitting, creating an atmosphere of warmth and comfort. All in all, pretty good!

Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to get acquainted with Japanese pear, so I can't accurately describe the scent of its petals. However, Nashi Blossom is the first perfume from this brand that, in my opinion, leans more towards a chemical scent than a natural one

What an amazing fragrance! It truly captures the Jo Malone vibe, with a light fruity-floral accent. Definitely summery, and you can feel the juicy pear in it, as well as soft white flowers beautifully complemented by musk. The purity and freshness are simply striking

The pear here is, of course, naturalistic, but it's somehow too green and fresh, as if just picked from the tree. The citrus undertone is barely noticeable, and the floral sweetness is a whole other story. It's lush, but somehow too intrusive. It feels a bit rough and dusty, I don't know how to take it. Overall, not as easy as one would hope )
